6 Top Tips to Naturally Energize Your Life with Vibrant Energy

We Need More Energy!

Don’t you crave more energy? People often feel so tired in their daily lives. There’s so much to do, it can be physically and mentally overwhelming. There are a few reasons for our tiredness, including needing proper sleep and eating a better diet.

And of course, the first tip is always, always to get enough sleep, between 7 and 10 hours a night, depending on your body. But, that’s not realistic to some people’s schedules.

1. Get Natural Sunlight Energy As Soon As You Wake Up.

Sunlight boosts serotonin, which will activate your health, energy, positive outlook and mood. Even if it’s cloudy out, you will benefit from going outside for a few minutes. You can also look into daylight lights and lamps that mimic daylight to wake you up.

Get 10-15 minutes of daily sunlight. It’s not such a hard task. You can even pair this with a short morning stroll or seated coffee breath breathing technique (below)/

2. Coffee Breath Breathing Technique.

It even sounds energizing, right? Use this first thing in the morning before you go about your day, and any time you need a boost of energy.

This is a quick breath through your nose, and a quick, passive breath out of your nose. (Think of a panting dog but with mouth closed). The breaths are very short and continuous, so don’t try emptying your lungs till you pause. Your stomach pumps up and down during this technique. Try breathing like this for 30 seconds, pause for about half a minute breathing normally, then go again when you feel ready.

Sit down doing this technique and going at your own, but fast, pace. Stop if you feel too lightheaded.

After 5 or so rounds of this breath, feel and notice your body pulsing with energy!

3. Exercise and Energize!

Don’t pass this one up! When you exercise, more mitochondria are released in your muscle cells, which fuels your body. Having more mitochondria increases your body’s energy supply.

If you don’t like to exercise, start with the mindset, “I’ll try it for 5 minutes and stop if I’m tired.” And let yourself have that grace. But more often than not, you’re not going to stop exercising. You’ll get more and more energized after those 5 minutes. Still, listen to your body whenever you need to rest. Soon, exercise will become a habit.

Pre-workout makes exercise even easier and more fun! I speak from experience. The healthy and energizing pre-workout I drink tastes like delicious lemonade but revives my energy so much with one sip.

A great way for beginners to get started on a health journey or exercise journey is to join an amazing group like this. I’ve been involved in this online platform for over 7 years, and it’s not just about the 100+ workouts, live & replay, or the variety of workouts from cardio, to muscle building to slimming barre or yoga. But It has a mental health mindset program that is ongoing, plus several quite beneficial eating plans with mindset attached. Here’s more information. Try it out now! I’d love to hear your opinion.

Another cool tip, people who exercise live longer. Do it!

4. Power Nap.

Power naps can be so refreshing, but play around with what length of time your body likes to nap. For many people, 10-20 minute power nap is sufficient to feel a great amount of energy and a focused alertness. This nap cycle has No Rapid Eye Movement (NREM).

If you nap too long, you might not feel quite as energized so test it out between this short nap time frame.

Note, naps aren’t recommended if you have insomnia.

5. Boost Your Gut Health.

Did you know Serotonin is produced in the intestines? This is a neurotransmitter which controls your mood, sleep, and energy. Having good gut health is very helpful if you want to rev up your energy. Essentially, exercise and eat foods that actually fuel your body, and of course, get enough sleep.

My Healthy Shake, which is a nutrient-dense yummy meal replacement, is a great way to upgrade your gut health. I’ve been having it for 7 years and always have regular digestion and know I’m getting all the vitamins and nutrients for the day. I can only rave about how much I love and am grateful for this shake.

6. Reflexology Point, The Outer Gate.

The outer gate point is between two tendons on the backside of the arm. Put three fingers from your opposite hand above your wrist. Use those fingers to apply firm pressure to this part of your hand to give your immune system a quick boost.

Reflexologists believe that placing pressure to this part of the hand could give you a rush of energy. Massage this point for several minutes. Try this one out daily!
