Absolutely. You can lose weight with affirmations with consistent practice. Weight loss, like most other things in life, is tied to your mindset and perception. If you are convinced of something, such as that you are losing weight – which can happen when using affirmations – trust me, that thing will come.

What is an Affirmation or Mantra?

This is a positive statement that you tell yourself over and over throughout your days, at the same time you resonate with that statement by feeling positive while saying it. Using a positive phrase or statement as an affirmation can help affect change not only in your mind and body, but your whole life.

The trick is to get yourself to believe it,

So, if you come across a mantra and you feel a part of your body tightening up when repeating it, or something in your mind or heart says, “That can’t be right for me,” then take a moment with this mantra. Breathe into the upset feelings or disbelief of it. Keep breathing into that feeling until the feeling dissipates.

You can eventually resonate with any mantra. But to start, pick one of these mantras that you think are best for you right now and one that you want to work with. Repeat this to yourself every day.

Affirm it. The Universe will respond to the feelings that you’re putting out through the Law of Attraction.

If you put out feelings that you are wealthy, then the universe has to respond. The same thing with weight loss. Put it out to the universe that you are a healthy, strong and fit person and the universe will respond. Your body will mold itself to the shape that you believe it is. And, you’ll feel good throughout this process, imagining with every step that you are a slim, healthy person as it becomes a reality.

You’ll notice the last affirmations were questions, which are so great to pose to the universe daily, because the universe will provide the answer.
